Crafting Armor and Weapons
Is it intentional that the cost in days for some items is now 2/5/10 instead of 2/4/8? As far as I can tell this doesn’t make it harder to craft, it just makes it harder to craft OTHER things in your crafting cycle if you build journeyman or masterwork. Food for thought, not sure what the intent is.
Armor and Weapon Specialties
I was under the impression that originally the benefit of the material specialties in these professions were split so that one benefit applied regardless of how many professions you used - specifically ignoring 2 components, and the other alternate option (adding 2 days) was available only if you used that single profession exclusively. This avoids having two specialties that stack to get you 4 days, but also let you still benefit from specialization if you used multiple professions.
Presently the wording indicates that you could take armorer and weaponsmith and use only one material in order to get +4 days. Possible typo, should have clarification.
Gatherer
Possible typo:
Skilled Gathering: Receive 1 randomly selected unusual find (permanent profession component)
Skilled Foraging: Receive 1 randomly selected item (temporary profession component)
I assume both were supposed to say “Unusual Find”, since otherwise the description does not differ from the standard gathering and foraging actions. If the Skilled Foraging version is correct, I’m not actually sure what the benefit of these skills would be. From the Skilled Gathering description it appears that they ware intended to give you guaranteed uncommons with no chance for commons.
Question: Does Keen Eye apply to these skills and reduce the cost in days of using them? If so, I think it should be included in the table. If not, that should be included in the description of Keen Eye, so that players with Keen Eye know that it does not impact their advanced skills.
Question: Are costs for the advanced gatherer skills different for gathering vs. foraging? Currently they appear the same, which is a reversal of previous decisions. Not complaining just confirming.
