I have a multipronged question about Resist Finishing Blow.
-
Since you can only be Finishing Blow’d while Unconscious, a player is allowed and expected to make a Resist Finishing Blow call while they’re Unconscious, unlike pretty much every other call?
-
There’s only cordial game behavior keeping the enemy from swinging it again right after a Resist Finishing Blow, especially since it can be swung without any charge-up time. Practically speaking, should we have an expectation for what happens after we use up a Resist Finishing Blow? (It’s somewhat unlike the possibility of resisting a Critical, where buying extra time while you’re conscious could make a huge difference, not to mention negating a huge, effort-requiring enemy attack; a Finishing Blow is free, after all.)

Can a regular, untyped Resist be used against a Finishing Blow? I figure not, but I just want to double-check for clarity.
Not being killed thanks to a Resist Finishing Blow is great! I totally appreciate that! I’m just gauging its efficacy in protecting my pals. It IS relatively cheap, so I get that it could be something used primarily to buy a little more time. Thanks in advance!
