Thank you very much for attending the first two and a half Episodes of Divine Intervention. We on staff have had a whirlwind time and are incredibly excited for what we’ve got in store for you all.
Over the course of our first winter offseason we have done a systems retrospective and put together some large and small changes based off of how we’ve seen things play out both in game and in our ability to plan and stat encounters. The plan is to do a systems retrospective every winter offseason, though some of them may not result in a large rulebook update like this one has, and then keep essentially the same rulebook for the full year unless something major comes up. Essentially, we are limiting large systemic changes to a once per year cadence if we feel they are necessary.
There may be some people who wish to do character rebuilds based on these changes, that is entirely fine and understandable by us. Feel free to just send an email and we’ll get you sorted before E3. On that note: The Builder will be updated to reflect these changes shortly. As far as the builder is concerned the only things that these changes affect is the text of abilities so if you are looking at the builder in the next couple days and there is a discrepancy know that what’s in Rulebook 2.0 is the correct version. On that note, there are some people who need XP processed for a variety of things and we will be handling that within this week. Build purchases are not required until the Wednesday before E3 so you’ve got some time to mull things over.
There may be little tweaks in the time between winters but for all intents and purposes this is the backbone of the rules Divine Intervention is expected to use in 2018.
